About Aligned Muse

Aligned Muse is the work of Cate Calvert, a formally trained musician and multi-instrumentalist whose work bridges music, sound, and embodied healing. She found her own healing through sound, which led her into a deeper exploration of sound as a healing practice. Her sound baths are created with gentleness and intention, each one shaped by her understanding of sound as a support for nervous system regulation and inner calm. They help quiet mental noise, relax the body, and restore a sense of inner alignment and groundedness.

What Sound Can Do For You

Stress & Anxiety Relief

When stress and anxiety build up, the body can lose its sense of ease. Sound helps interrupt that cycle by gently releasing physical and mental tension and creating space for calm to return.

Pain Relief

Sound vibration moves through the body and can help release areas of physical tension and tightness. It encourages the body space to relax, unwind, and engage its natural processes of recovery and relief.

Nervous System Regulation

Sound supports nervous system regulation by working with the vagus nerve and the body’s natural relaxation response. It helps shift the system out of stress and into a calmer, more balanced state.

Focus & Clarity

Sound can help shift brain activity into calmer states where focus and clarity naturally become easier to access. It supports a more settled mind, helping you return to a centered, steady state of awareness.

Better Sleep

Research suggests sound-based practices may help reduce insomnia symptoms and improve sleep quality. It creates a calm, supportive space for the mind and body to unwind, release the day, and rest deeply.

Presence & Mindful Awareness

Sound gently anchors awareness by offering a steady focus through immersive listening. It supports a return to the present moment, where stillness feels natural, accessible, and easy to settle into.
